You don’t need to become someone new.
Through sitting meditation, we learn to meet ourselves exactly as we are—with genuine curiosity instead of judgment.
Wakefulness in Everyday Life
Whether you’ve never meditated before or you’ve been practicing for years, our approach is simple: how can we apply mindfulness in all these different venues of your life?
I’ve guided people through meditation in Buddhist temples and helped them find mindfulness while walking past the Liberty Bell.
The setting changes, but the practice remains the same: learning to be present with whatever life brings, with a sense of humor about the whole adventure.
What to expect in your first class:
- A brief discussion about what made you curious about the practice.
- Simple instruction on posture and breathing. You can sit on a cushion or in a chair.
- A community that will welcome you with an open heart.

The Practice That Meets You Where You Are
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, grief, excitement, or just the ordinary chaos of being human, meditation offers the same invitation: can you be present with your experience without immediately trying to change it? We’ll explore this question together.
